My mommy and me have been fans of baseball all of our life’s, so when mommy ran across this book it was a non-stop read for the two of us. Sorry, I had to take a pee pee break. Back to the book. It’s about a Major League Baseball pitcher for the New York Mets ( bark) and a Rookie for the Chicago Cubs in 1973 ( woof woof not the Big Red Machine!). It takes one game, one pitch and the world of two families collapse in pieces. After 30 years, it takes the son of Mets pitcher Warren Tracey to try to bring peace and closure to the two families. It is a simple but good read for anyone who loves baseball.
